Flan II and other updates

Just found out I get to be a volunteer at Flan II. Autograph room and discounted ticket here I come. *squeee*

There is an end in sight for my animated short. Which is a good thing, since I only have a month left to work on it.

I found a great dress on ebay for the JM and friends event, it's a replica of the 1930s bias cut style of gown. Problem is I don't want to buy something now since I plan to go into training for a 1/2 marathon as soon as I'm done with my film, possibly sooner. And hopefully, I would lose a little weight and tone up while training. *aargh, it can never be easy can it*
If anyone likes to run or walk quickly, this sounds like a cool 1/2 marathon. It's a new course in San Jose, Ca, happening this October. It's a Rock n Roll marathon which means they have bands playing at every mile marker. Helps to keep your spirits up. It's only 13.1 miles. It's a piece of cake compared to a full marathon, trust me I know.

Got a promotion at the school bookstore. Doesn't take affect yet, but I'll get a raise. I'll go from meager retail pay to slightly better meager retail pay. : )
