May. 15th, 2007 08:18 pmSo all I have left is the Collectormania weekend. Here we go.
We stayed in a hotel near Heathrow on Monday night so there would be no rushing to the airport on Tuesday. We ended up one of the first people to check in so we got the seats we wanted on the plane, aisle seats are cool. The plane was quite empty so we were able to stretch out. Always nice on a 10-11 hour flight. While at the gate waiting to board there was a news story about Ulster (Northern Ireland) getting their government back after 5 years of direct rule by London. I was very confused by the story because I thought Ulster got it's government back after the peace talks that Blair and Clinton worked on. I asked my Mother what was up since her sister keeps her up to date on whats happening. Ends up they did get their government then, it's just that the different parties refused to sit down and work together so London took over. They're just now getting a second chance to work together. My Mother gives them 6 months before they start fighting again.
