Pushing Daisies Paley Panel
Mar. 16th, 2008 12:22 amTonight was fun. I like the Paley Fest. Tonight was the Pushing Daisies panel.
ghostgirl13 and myself were in attendance. I'll confess I've never seen the show as I tend to not watch prime time TV. But after seeing the clips tonight and hearing the cast and creative team talk, I think I need to start watching this prime time show. Kristen from E! was the moderator, and although she wasn't the greatest with 9 panelists they managed to let everyone talk and cover a good amount of stuff. So hopefully if Matt Roush does good, they can make sure everyone talks during the Buffy Panel. After the panel everyone rushed the stage for autos and the panelists threw some t-shirts which we got. After awhile the crowd lessened a bit so we attempted to get some autos. It was a very fun night hanging out with
girlfmkitty and K and friends afterwards. I'm looking forward to Chuck and of course Buffy!!!.
Oh and the CEO of the Paley Center mentioned how they would be streaming a panel live. I know they are streaming the Gossip Girl panel and people have asked for Buffy but Paley has said that they can't do it logistically. I'm assuming they mean they don't have the server power to handle the great amount of people that would try to access the site to watch Buffy streamed live. But as the CEO was talking before the panel it sounded like she implied that the streaming thing would be for all those that couldn't get tickets to see Buffy. But then she is a CEO and they often don't really know what's happening. But hey, it wouldn't hurt to check out the site at the time of the panel in case.
