Moonlight Rising

Well, I had a great time at Moonlight Rising this weekend. Tony Head was a doll as usual. I love it when he giggles. And George Hertzberg is really sweet. Camden and Leary were hilarious as usual. Jonathan Woodward was his normal strange self. I loved meeting Kelly Donovan. He's very funny. Christian was very sincere when I met him. He seems to really want to interact well with his fans. He was also pissed during the concert. Apparently the hotel almost pulled the plug on the concert because of the volume, but he flipped them off in his own way by putting on the loudest concert they could. The hotel wouldn't let them leave the stage and come back for an encore, so they stayed on stage as long as possible by drawing out the last songs. I thought it rocked more than the Key Club gig.

I did have a terrible trip back to LA. My early morning flight out of Philly was canceled and I had to wait 14 hours at the airport for the next available flight out. At least I was bumped up to first class. *rolls eyes*

I checked my pics and I got some good ones. They had very bright lighting at the con, so bright that the guests were being blinded a bit and sweating like crazy. But hey, my pics are clear. I won't be posting the pics for awhile, but since most people that read this LJ are James fans, I don't think anyone is dying to see my pics of other Buffy people. Speaking of James, I will be seeing him next weekend at Toronto and will bring back as many pretty pics as I can.

Oh, and I got the apartment. *hehe* I have a place to live. yippee.

Glad you had a good time hun! I'd love to see pics when you get the chance. Sorry your return flight was such a hassle, but First Class must have been nice! I always look at those seats longingly on my way back to coach...

I almost forgot you were going to Toronto (can you say 'extremely jealous'?) Hope you have a great time, and I can't wait to see the pics from that!!! It makes me so sad to think he wont be doing more cons in the near future... I got on this bandwagon way too late and didn't get enough! Lol. Anyway, have a blast! Congrats on the apartment too... very cool!!!

Thanks. I'll probably put the pics up along with the Toronto ones when I get back.
The sad part about being in first class was that I was so tired from being awake almost 48 hours that I don't remember the journey, I think I actually slept the whole time.
And although this is belated, Happy Birthday!!!
