Well, I finally bought my Comic Con ticket. And just read the Friday schedule... David Boreanaz is doing a Bones panel again. *cool*
But
ghostgirl13
spikes_cj and
_sharvie_ , I have our Friday evening planned. They have two animation screenings, Jerry Beck's worst animation. Should be pretty awful, Beck is a great animation historian. But the best is after that, Spike and Mike's Twisted Animation Festival. *awesome* Animated porn and blood and guts. And no I'm not joking, I will be there watching it and would hope you would like to join me. : )
Eta: I forgot Ray Harryhausen is going to be there too. In case you don't know, he's a great stop motion animator. Did the original King Kong, Jason and the Argonaughts (spelling?), etc. etc. I missed him at the Book Fair at UCLA.
What was the planned arrival time on Friday? There's a lot of good art stuff going on. *grins*
Edited again: Darn it, there's a great screening on Thursday night. It's a documentary about the closure of the Disney 2D animation department back in 2002, with a panel of animators afterward. Guess I'm driving down and back on Thursday. *yep, I'm crazy*
