A birthday wish and I'm down to one
May. 1st, 2008 06:43 pmHappy Birthday
jaesha!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you're having a marvelous day.
And thanks to everyone for the comfort over not getting into the DreamWorks program. I just got an email from Pixar and they are a no too. But no need to reply to this post. I honestly wasn't expecting to get into any of the programs, its that competitive, but I do appreciate your thoughts. I'm only posting the results since I told you all about applying. Just want to keep you updated. I just have to hear from Disney. On a side note, I'm wondering when my luck is going to change. Normally my luck tends to stay pretty balanced. I have a bad day or week and then something really good happens. Example....I got a $50 parking ticket visiting the UCLA campus when applying for the second time and then I got accepted into the graduate program. I trip and fall and rip out a chunk of skin near my elbow last June. And then my flight to NY gets canceled. Next I get the last standby seat on the next flight out and go on to have the best birthday weekend of my life at NY and the NJ Fangoria Con. So last week I get offered a temp job at school for the summer and then I learn that the supervisor of that job is an asshole and there's no way I could work under him. So I decline the offer. Now this week is full of rejection emails. So I wonder what will turn the luck around. Maybe I should buy a lotto ticket. Ah....winning the lotto would be nice. :)
