So I finally bit the bullet and uploaded my first animated film to youtube. I kept putting it off because I cringe every time I see the film, but I suppose I should share it. It is definitely aimed for younger children, but beyond the slow editing, I hope you as adults would find it enjoyable and sickenly cute. :)

This is the film that showed at the Taiwan International Animation Festival in 2006. The Comic Con film festival in 2007. And the Dragon Con film festival in 2007. Those were the only festivals I bothered to enter. I'm planning on entering my second film into more festivals. I can't upload that film because most festivals frown upon films screening online. Once I'm done with the festival run I'll throw that one online as it doesn't make me cringe as much. I still cringe, just not as much. :)

Finally! Got to see your toon! Heehee. The cat hiding in plain sight behind the clock totally reminded me of my pink cat clock with moving tail that I had for years. Kewl. And I liked how you tagged the audience near the end. Adorable stuff. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks. Glad you liked it. Most people comment on having a Felix the Cat clock like that. I had a Garfield clock like that as a kid. It's still hanging on the wall of my old room at my folks. :)

I was watching it without sound and it was funny :D. Cat behind the clock made me laugh :D. Can't wait to see it again with sound.

Thanks. I'm glad it gave you a laugh. I will warn you the music can sometimes get stuck in your brain. :)

Thanks. And considering I've never owned a cat, I'm glad to hear I got the mannerisms right. :)

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. :) And yep I made it, and have a couple storage boxes full of drawings to remind me how long it took to make it. LOL.

Your icon. LOL!

And thank you. I'm glad you love the mouse. Most people that see the film usually comment on the mouse and the way he moves. :)

Off topic. I'm worried over my redwood burl surviving the summer here. With this heat wave, which is typical summer weather in the valley, it's been wilting and no matter how often I fill the dish with water the water keeps disappearing it's so dry here. :sniff: I hope it doesn't die.

Thank you and I'm glad you mentioned Tom and Jerry as I always loved them and they definitely inspired my cartoon. :)

Does Lord Piccolo approve of the Cat and Mouse or are they earthly pests for him to destroy. LOL.
